What about creative instinctive? For now….creative instinctive is about helping me to see and challenging myself to find an image in the everyday activities of my life.

Who am I? My name is Leah Kennedy and I am a fine art photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.

I am a firm believer that there is beauty everywhere, the challenge is to put that belief into action and photograph something from “normal” life.

It can be with whatever camera I have on me, from iPhone through to medium format there are no restrictions and it’s up to me to find the creative no matter what I am using as the tool.

It can be a constructed image with everyday objects, it can be found in the local environment, it can be urban or it can be natural! There are no restrictions as it is all about expanding the creative mind.

Life and responsibilities can hobble the creative inside us, steal the joy from the art of photography. This challenge is about bringing it back! Finding beauty in simplicity.
